Kenneth Omeruo

Kenneth Omeruo is a Managing Partner at InnovationHub Africa & Resources LTD. He is an Innovation Management expert, a member of the International Society for Professional Innovation Management and European Alliance for Innovation.

Kenneth is passionate about Technology Development in Africa and has continuously invested in such.

He is an author, a public speaker, a panelist of the Youth Enterprise with Innovation in Nigeria, a 2013 judge at the Google Cloud Developers Challenge for Sub Saharan Africa.

He has also been a contributing editor of Nigeria Communications Week, Africa Telecom and IT Business Magazine, ICT Today magazine, M2 Magazine.

Kenneth has been invited to the Commonwealth Telecommunications Organisation Forum, Oracle Open World Conferences, GITEX Dubai, ISPIM Boston, US and Ottawa, Canada. Kenneth is based in New York.

Tony Ajah

Tony Ajah is a Partner at InnovationHub Africa & Resources LTD. He is a Business Growth Strategist and the Managing Partner, TA Strategic Solutions, a Lagos-based firm that provides strategic services for budding entrepreneurs. He is the co-founder Greenergy Waste Management Limited, an integrated resource recovery and recycling company based in Lagos, Nigeria.

Tony’s ideas are highly sought after by leading Nigerian print media such as Punch Newspaper, Daily Sun, Daily Independent, Financial Standard, Business Day, ReguLetter (an international journal)amongst many others.

Tony has written hundreds of business articles that have been helpful to entrepreneurs, and which he has shared on several media platforms around the world both online and off-line. He is the author of a couple of business books such as: Business SenseMy Wor’d of Business, and On Becoming An Entrepreneur, which have been helpful so several start-ups and entrepreneurs in Africa.

He is a seasoned entrepreneur, idea strategist, trainer, and professional speaker. Tony’s voice has been heard in numerous establishments and organisations across Nigeria and beyond.

He is currently the Programme Director of Nigeria Innovation Summit, a platform that promotes innovations in Nigeria.

He runs a periodic Business Development Training Workshops for entrepreneurs, managers, and business executives, amongst others, where he proffers working strategies for business growth and sustainability in a dynamic business environment.

Tony has worked closely with some of the brightest minds in the industry. He is a member of several professional organisations within and outside Nigeria.

Grace Akinosun 

Grace Akinosun is a Partner at InnovationHub Africa & Resources LTD.

She is the Founder and CEO of smepeaks, a tech-media company leveraging storytelling, data analysis to inform, equip and accelerate the growth of SMEs and startups in Africa.

Having over 5 years of professional background in technology, corporate communications, digital media and content development, Grace is extremely passionate about the growing African tech and startup scene. Over the years, she’s worked with various SMEs stakeholders, investors, industry leaders and policymakers across multiple sectors, to improve standards and shape a better narrative for emerging businesses in Nigeria.

Through smepeaks, Grace and her team smepeaks promote a narrative that seeks to equip African SMEs and startups, to build globally-competitive brands as well as provide insight and verifiable data on the African business and technology landscape. Recently, Grace was selected as one of the 100 top African women entrepreneurs for the US Consulate AWE Programme, out of 6,000+ applicants.

While Grace currently leads the smepeaks team, she consults for fast-growing startups, corporates, multinationals, incubators and investment companies. Some of the brands she’s worked with, and consulted for are; Microsoft for Startups, Japan’s FreakOut Holdings (in collaboration with TechCircle), theNEST Incubator, Univelcity, theRootHub, Ingressive LLC, and many others. Her most recent projects were with Microsoft for Startups’ team, and the RootHub, one of Africa’s premier innovation and creativity incubators, based in Uyo.

Beyond businesses, Grace’s impact has extended to other areas and demographics. She has been invited to speak at various notable conferences and events such as the Nigerian Innovation Summit, Fempower Africa’s International Women’s Day Programme, Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU)’s Students’ Technology Conference, LASEPA’s co-organised Nigeria’s students’ summit, and many notable others across the country.

Shafiu Umar Abubakar

Shafiu Umar Abubakar is a partner at InnovationHub Africa & Resources LTD. He is the Head of Operations, Northern Nigeria.

Shafiu is a computer scientist by profession specializing in web development and Data processing. Having over five years of professional background in Information and Communication Technology, Shafiu works at Globalnet ICT Consult a vibrant ICT firm based in Kano state, where he introduces many developments. He also works at the Intersystem Institute of Information Technology one of the oldest and well-known ICT centers in Kano state, among his involvement in other ICT centers in the northern part of Nigeria.

He is an associate of Centre for Information Technology and Development (CITAD) a non-governmental and non-profit organization that is committed to the use of Information and Communication Technologies for development and promotion of good governance.

Shafiu is passionate about education especially of youth, technology, development of society, and history. And he is always advocating and contributing to a knowledge-based society. He has written several articles on the Internet and Microsoft Office applications in the new economy. He is an active member of many associations in Kano State.
